Trust & Estate Administration
Trust and estate administration is the process of marshalling, valuing, allocating and distributing the decedent’s assets. The administration process also includes transfering title to assets and the preparation of the Federal Estate Tax Return. Our first concern is the stabilization of the family. Our objective is to simplify the burden of estate administration so that the family is able to focus on more personal matters.
Tax considerations are significant and factor into the administration of the estate. Our focus centers on the tax effective allocation of assets among the sub-trusts, and the preparation and timely filing of the Federal Estate Tax Return. During the process, we also anticipate additional planning that might benefit the survivors.
We strive to settle the estate without the expense, delay and publicity inherent in traditional estate administration.
